This very short video was sent to me by an unknown source. I think it was filmed on a mobile phone and looks as though whoever filmed it was spotted lol

It took three carpenters two weeks to make and age down all the beams,columns,rafters,windows and doors for the barn and another two weeks to construct it out on site.The weather was pretty poor for the first week as you can see in some of the pics ,it was so wet some days that we had to use our battery powered tools rather than electric tools.
The scenic artists carved the curved rafters from polystyrene blocks and fitted them into the roof then we put cladding up to them to enclose the ends.
The roof was then thatched by a team of thatchers from Gloucester.
All the beams, columns and rafters had to be split apart again to be wrapped around the scaffold tubes to hide it which proved a bit tricky.
The last couple of pics show the barn dressed by the props department which all horesy stuff saddles, bridals whips etc
